David Hessekiel, Founder and President, Peer-to-Peer Fundraising Canada

David Hessekiel smallDavid Hessekiel has one marathon for charity under his belt and a passion for helping nonprofits and businesses succeed at doing well by doing good. Since 2006 the Peer-to-Peer Professional Forum has brought thousands of peer-to-peer fundraising professionals together via its annual conference, workshops and webinars to share best practices and provided them with access to the information they need to raise more for their organizations.

Peer-to-Peer Fundraising Canada and Peer-to-Peer Professional Forum are units of Hessekiel’s Cause Marketing Forum, Inc. Since 2002, CMF’s events, online offerings and membership program have helped thousands of executives gain the practical knowledge they need to succeed, make valuable connections, and honor outstanding accomplishments in this expanding field.

The recipient of a BA from Wesleyan University and an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business, David’s background in journalism, magazine management, consumer marketing and the dot.com world equipped him to launch CMF. He lives in Rye, New York with his wife Andrea and their two daughters.

 


Robin Deutsch Edwards, Marketing 

Robin Deutsch Edwards is the owner and principal for High Mileage Communications, which provides communications and marketing supports for mission-driven businesses. Previously, Robin was a vice president in Edelman’s Corporate Social Responsibility practice, part of the national marketing & communications team for Marsh & McLennan’s Risk Consulting practice and managed operations for a national green building industy conference. Robin received a Masters degree from New York University’s Robert F. Wagner School of Public Service and holds a Bachelors in Environmental Policy from the University of Michigan’s School of Natural Resources & Environment. Robin lives in Brooklyn with her husband and two children. For Peer-to-Peer Fundraising Canada and Peer-to-Peer Professional Forum Robin is involved in sponsorship activation, the company’s website, webinar series and conference production.


Peter Panepento, Communications

Peter PanepentoPeter Panepento is principal for Panepento Strategies, a consulting company that provides digital and social-media strategy, communications, and marketing services to nonprofits, foundations, and media companies. Previously, he was senior vice president of Knowledge and Community for the Council on Foundations and assistant managing editor at The Chronicle of Philanthropy. For Peer-to-Peer Fundraising Canada, Peter is responsible for content development including the blog, Peer Review Canada and webinars.
